Beacon Farms received at VIP visitor at our stall at the Agriculture Show last week when Sophie, Countess of Wessex stopped by for a chat. She took a genuine interest in the work we do changing lives through agriculture and it was a privilege to have this opportunity to speak to her during the royal visit.
The Countess of Wessex officially opened the 54th annual Agriculture Show on Ash Wednesday with the ring of a cowbell. Thousands attended the event, the first in three years, and we did a roaring trade at our market stall selling fresh produce and manufactured goods, including our popular coconut products. We also had our farm machinery on display to promote Beacon Farming Services.
It was great to see so many people turn up to celebrate farming and agriculture in the Cayman Islands. Thank you to all who came out to support.
