Dear friends, we need your help!

Our dear colleague Jason has suffered two devastating strokes and has a long, difficult journey to recovery ahead of him. He is currently under the expert care of the team at Health City Cayman Islands where he’s had surgery twice to relieve the swelling on his brain. Jason is showing signs of improvement, but he remains in critical condition and his long-term prognosis is uncertain.

As you can imagine, the medical costs for his treatment far exceed his insurance and are greater than his ability to pay. As a non-profit organisation, we are not in a position to cover these costs and are seeking contributions to ensure Jason continues to receive the care and support he needs to recuperate from this life-changing event.

Jason has been with Beacon Farms from its earliest days and is an integral part of our agricultural team. His experience growing up on a farm in the Philippines has been invaluable to us here in Cayman, teaching us how to use every part of a coconut – how to husk and how to produce coconut oil and flour. He is a hard-working young man who is always willing to help and share his love and knowledge of farming with colleagues in the programme.

If you would like to help Jason, please click on the donate button above. Every donation received this month will go directly towards Jason’s healthcare.

With grateful thanks,

Beacon Farms Team
